I was born as the second child… a cute li’l gal to my Dad who works in a bank… As a bank employee, my Dad gets FREQUENT transfers all over
I am proud to say that I have studied in EIGHT skools, by the time I rchd 12 th standard… well… n those yrs have sure made me well experienced…I ve met hundreds of kids… had scores of friends, dozens of best friends…but the only problem was that as I got accustomed to a place, made friends, got settled.. it would always be time to leave… I wud be heart broken always… Teary good byes, silent promises of keeping in touch… (which invariably would be broken.. with the various reasons being I lost her address, she moved on to another place…etc etc…)
But the transition was easy… I d soon find a good friend… settle in… learn, try to be in the teacher’s good books( no, I was not Miss Goody two shoes all the time, I was a rioter too.. not much in skool…the later yrs…)… n all would be fine.. but the starting trouble was always there ….
Anyways the memories remain…. Etched into my heart… forever….
Dedicating this series of posts… to all my FRIENDS… through out the years…. Love u all…
( esp YOU(plural) on whom I had huge crushes on…. and Evn U whom I was intensely jealous of… N then the You’s I hated coz u said spiteful things bout me behind my back…u all r included....)
{ To be continued, very soon as I hav nothing better to do @ home n I love to write… }

i beg to differ (remember RC and PS?)
:P :P

nevertheless, school times are perfect memories.
Yeah... i do wish I din hav to grow up.... :( I guess everyone wishes the same...

whoaaaa...8 schools??? dats a huge number...so on an avg u din even spend 2 yrs in d same school!!!
i hv studied (yeah rite!) in 2 schools (3 if i include nursery) n 4 some strange reason i was neva in d gud books of d teachers...2 schools...so many teachers n not one of dem had a book gud enuf 4 me...sigh! (wonder wat was wrong wid dem!)
ur dedication was cool :) continue ur "HERstory" ;)
@ BE
Thank you... Yeah.. I guess sumthin was wrong with ur teachers... :)
well, had no such problems. Good that you could adjust to new surroundings. By the time i started loving my old school, i had to change it because i wanted to change my syllabus. I hate my new school. The main reason is because I am too much obsessed with my old school!
lol..
the life u led was exactly my opposite.. i'd been in the same place since i was born.. but the starting trouble part is common..was severe during the first few days of college and would invariably follow me in my workplace..
@ Ramya:
Thts life,dearest... a change is always inevitable...mayb its for the best :)Lets hope so anyways...
@Gayathri
I used to be envious of my frendz who spent their whole skool life @ a single place.. they get best frndz for life..while mine used to change every couple of yrs..but now I m not so sure...Wats ur story?
ettu (8) schoolukalo? Ithendha? :)
School-trotting adventure indeed!
Well... Twas fun.. I got to see hordes of guys...at every imaginable age... :)But i was steady thru college... Jus 1 for five years... :)
N i din mean one guy... I meant I studied in one college for the whole of 5 yrs...my UG N PG...
Yes and u should keep writing :)
School..sighh..how i miss it...i ve studied in only 3 schools..so yeah u win :P but i ve experience what u mentioned too..the newness of it all..the making new friends, the nervousness of the first day in class, the horrid and the gr8 teachers..school certainly was something else..i guess i ll forever remain indebted to all the people who taught me.
I like the way this series has started of..keep em coming...would luv to read more

Hey Lakshmi,
I just checked my blog and found your comment. You got a competition in me hehe :). Even i have studies in 8 schools and its been just fun all the way. Thanks to our dads again. But i always loved to move from place to place, with the belief that the friends i made would always be there and being a guy i was saved from the teary buhbye's :).
I would have left a bigger comment but for the time, am coming over to Palakkad to attend my friends marriage hehe :). We studied to together in my 7th school. :)
